Do you mean
Appuntamento a Liverpool (1988)? That's the only one I can find with a title anything like
Appointment in Liverpool.
It's an Italian drama so it might not give the Liverpool side too fairly. And I don't know that it's ever been shown here.
But if the UK press did ever stumble upon it I expect they would make a scathing attack on it. They make scathing attacks on everything else

Except the Sun of course, they make attacks on Liverpool supporters even when they're not guilty of anything
