Hi,

I have just stumbled onto this excellent and fascinating site and already have a question!

I was watching Blithe Spirit last night and paused the DVD on the telephone number, Ashford 410. Does anyone know if the house is/was actually in Ashford?

It was nearly all filmed in the studio at Denham. The IMDb (Internet Movie Database, an invaluable resource) also lists "Fairway, Denham, Buckinghamshire". That doesn't seem to be the name of a village near Denham. It might be the name of a house near there although I don't know if it was the main house used in the film.

Ashford in Surrey wouldn't be far from Denham.

It's not far (about 15 miles) and they could well have gone to Ashford for some scenes. Or they could have just made up the phone number.
