Just trying to figure out how many different versions of this exist and which ones have been released on VHS and DVD and have been shown on TV?

Last night I watched the version included in Jezebel's R1 "English Girls Collection" 3 disc set, which presents the film full frame, but zoomed-in quite nicely for 16:9 viewing. Considering the admittedly fleeting nudity (Geeson in sem-transparent bra, Geeson in the bath, Geeson and Wisdom running naked into the sea etc), it didn't seem like something that would be passed by the BBFC as a "U" but perhaps Wisdom's presence alone suggested an innocence that made the censors more relaxed than usual? There were none of the usual signs (eg. audio jumps) of seconds being snipped out but appeared to be two instances of footage being removed (we don't see Wisdom & Geeson having sex, and we don't see Geeson being discovered in bed with another man) but perhaps these were only included in the "Continental" version?

Can others compare what they have so we can build up a clearer vision of how many different cuts exist? Possible existing variants:

The IMDb alternate versions page for the film says:
The UK cinema version was cut for a 'U' certificate by the BBFC with heavy edits to sex scenes including Bartlett & Nikki's bed scene, brief shots of topless nudity during Nikki's bath sequence and Bartlett discovering Nikki and a male lover in bed together. The 1986 Krypton video release (as "Girl Trouble") was a 15 minute shorter print and the 1999 video/2007 DVD both featured an alternate edit of the movie.

The BBFC lists:
Film 13/02/69 - 106m 51s passed with cuts
Video 18/02/99 - 98m 23s
Video 14/02/07 - 98m 6s

Don't forget the usual projected/video adjustment

Yes, I'd checked those before posting. The 106 min rt listed by the BBFC is what made me wonder if the Jezebel DVD was the UK theatrical version but taken from a PAL source, which would account for the reduced rt, and the IMDb info would seem to confirm that, as two of those scenes mentioned are absent, though the bath scene looked intact to me...no obvious snips (so if cuts were made they were done with care) and Geeson's nipples could still just about be seen.

The video rt's indicate an additional whopping 4 minutes of cuts; presumably the UK VHS and DVD could be the same...the few seconds difference could be a distributor's card or similar. I'm not sure where that phrase "alternate edit" - which suggests it's not just a cut version - comes from. But anyway, why, when and by whom were these cuts made?
