Average 'B' film of early 1960s. Nothing too exciting.....

I'd have to agree - mainly worth a look if you like similar films of the period or that nostalgia thing. Not on a par with films like SMOKESCREEN...

I have Dilemma ..... I really enjoyed it, it was a bit different from the run-of-the-mill
B-thriller plotwise and is well acted and directed. It's a fun way of spending an hour or so.

Jingle bells Batman smells ... I heard that at school Daddy.

I, too, have Dilemma. However, I found it less than convincing. Somehow, it almost turned comical and I wasn't certain whether it was a black comedy or a serious story.

If you were to walk into your house and find a dead body in the bathroom, would you seriously go to the lengths that this innocent man did? Would you tear up the floorboards, in order to hide the remains or would you call the police? Furthermore, all the intrusions from the neighbours, seemed more comical than serious.

It's in my collection, but not one that I intend to watch regularly.

IMHO the elements of black humour were intentional. The plot doesn't make a lot of sense, but you can say that for a great many UK B-thrillers.

Rather oddly one of the reviewers on IMDB thinks that the one thing that doesn't make sense is the piano tuner being blind. Aren't most of them blind? (All the ones I've ever encountered have been).

The blind piano tuner is one of the more believable things in the film. I think it is correct to suggest that a lot of piano tuners are blind, as it tends to mean they have more sensitive hearing.

At under a fiver, you'll not be being "ripped off", but I'm sorry, the film just doesn't "do it" for me. I think I'd have rather watched 10 Rillington Place, but then that's not fiction.

Have fun!

It's also a job where you don't need sight so piano tuning used to be taught in "Blind Schools", when blind children were schooled separately.
