Hi,Newbie here asking a daft question about Summer Holiday with Cliff Richard.

I have it in my mind that there was a scene in this film about Cliff et al having to get the bus under a low bridge and filling the bus with sheep.

Have I actually seen this or am I as I suspect going senile?

ot sure, havent seen it for years, but welcome to the Forum, coming from Merthyr we are pracitcally neignbours. We are in Ponty bus station every day waiting for the bus, we commute to Nantgarw from Merthyr every day.

Hello Regentv

Just to let you know that you have just got it mixed up slightly.Towards the end of the film they take a wrong turn and end up in the countryside.As they all get off the bus there is a field full of sheep.Cliff then goes on to ask a local girl the way which is taken as a proposal of marriage.When the boys make their escape they run back through the field to the bus and one is wearing a sheepskin jacket.
Thanks for the post as I re-watched it just to see and its still one of the best feel good films of all time.

Thanks for the info,it was a long time ago that I saw it in the cinema (46 yrs) but I had thought it might have been cut from the video release.
Alas it proves I'm senile !!

First film that I remember being taken to see! Parodied of course recently in the crisps advert! Crisps possibly produced at the old Smith's plant in Swansea/Abertawe.
