Dancing Dynamite (1931) - Not sure if this is the same Dick Barton.

Exclusive Story (1936) - Also not sure about this

Dick Barton: Special Agent (1948) - No doubts about this one

Dick Barton Strikes Back (1949)

Dick Barton at Bay (1950)

"Dick Barton: Special Agent" (1979) - TV series

Only those films with Dick Barton in the title are based on the BBC series. All three Hammer productions are available in a DVD pack:

Dick Barton at Bay is surprisingly good with your typical mad scientist turning Blackpool Tower into a giant tuning fork to turn the inhabitants of Lancashire deaf. The other two are forgettable.

DICK BARTON AT BAY also features a VERY early two-line appearance of PETER WYNGARDE (Night of the Eagle / Jason King) as a young soldier... thumbs_u
