Default Wilfred Brambell in The 39 Steps
If this question has been addressed before, my apologies. I did do a search, but, couldn't see anything relating to it.

Has anyone any idea, as to where WB appears in the film? I've a suspiscion myself, that it could be the Crippen lookalike, who asks the question, "When was Crippen hanged," at approx 3:51 into the film.

It's bugging me now, and I'd rather be told it's another actor.

Yes, but they have him as an Undetermined Role, I'm trying to pinpoint him specifically.

Perhaps I have my question in the wrong place? Can you advise please.

Hmm. That doesn't look like him. It could be that someone saw the chap on the first screen grab and sent the details into imdb. As the information in it comes from film fans mistakes do creep in, most commonly two actors with the same name being credited with the same part.

I use it a lot for research, but you always have to bear in mind its limitations.
