I was watching some old video footage today from this very good British B/W film when I spotted Jackie Collins in the film playing a would be model called (in the film), Rita Mason.

However, when I went to IMDB to check the cast list it had a character called Rita Mason all right but crediting the role to a Lynn Curtis!

I am absolutely sure it was Jackie ( a most distinctive stage presence in her early films!) but can others confirm I am right? I note that this film seems to be a favourite of some members of this forum so they should have recognized her. IMDB also missed Michael Caine's first wife, Patricia Haines, in an early non speaking, uncredited, part and I have sent in a cast update.

An interesting cast list, including the ever, ever elusive Edward Judd!. Also Georgina Cookson who I am positive was, or became, Terence Morgan's spouse.

A firm favourite of mine, this.
It's on the list for re-visiting at some point.
Has a lot of my favourite actors:- Hazel Court, Donald Pleasence, Harry H. Corbett, and Edward Judd; a favourite favourite!

The BFI's SIFT database also credits the role of Rita to Lynn Curtis.

The IMDb says he was married to Georgina Jumel, not Georgina Cookson

Hmmmmmm. Not so sure about that one Steve. Could she have had a change of name? As I am sure you have already checked, there is no biography/filmography on Miss Jumel. Always thought his wife was the lady who had appeared in UFO. I have a contact who has spoken to Georgina Morgan on the phone, so maybe I can find out for certain.

Thanks, Marc, I noticed that myself but I am totally mystified. Perhaps the mistake originated somewhere and was picked up by others. I am absolutely sure the actress was Jackie Collins and am sorry that those who have replied clearly like and recall the film but don't remember her in it! I have sent a message to her on her "official" website where the "best" messages get a reply on the website about once a month but I notice all the messages are about her bloody books so...suspect my film query will fall on deaf ears!

Hey Ho.
