I recently saw a rather poor quality print of Gideon's Day, d. John Ford, which was listed as running for 88 minutes. I didn't time the film and imagine that it did indeed play for 88 minutes. I have just been looking at different websites concerning this film and at least two sources say this film originally ran for 118 minutes. If this 118 minutes running time is correct, does anyone know what the missing 30 minutes could contain? Does anyone have a copy running for 118 minutes?
