Default What's the new Quiller Memorandum DVD like?

I've ordered this today, as I've never seen the film in proper Widescreen before. Has anyone got the new Network DVD of this? I'm really interested to know what the quality is like.

According to the website:

• The film is sourced from a brand-new digitally restored HD print, and is presented in its original aspect ratio
• Contemporary interviews recorded on location in Berlin with George Segal, Alec Guinness, Senta Berger, Max Von Sydow, director Michael Anderson and producer Ivan Foxwell
• Original theatrical trailer
• Textless material
• Image gallery including some rare and behind the scenes material

Bloody love this film to bits. :)

It's funny about this film. It took me years to see it. I was in my teens when I first saw the beginning (in proper widescreen) on Carlton Cinema, but had to go out, so I never saw the rest of the film. The opening stayed in my memory for quite some time - and the music.

Then I saw it on TV a few years later. Love the film. Fantastic. Carlton brought out a DVD of it a while back, but it was in fullscreen. There was no way I was going to buy that. Then Network bring out a DVD; can't wait to see what the quality's like.

I wonder what the DD DVD is going to be like. Anyone know?

Not sure about the DD Video version, but the Network disc is superb imo.

Vincent, I ordered this on Wed, and honestly expected it to arrive by Saturday - but it didn't - much to my dissapointment. I'm itching to see what the quality is like, as I like this film a lot.

I'll post some screen-caps when I've got it.
