Smile Vote for DVD release of Happiest Days of Your Life

I'm lobbying various production companies for the release, on DVD, of "The Happiest Days of Your life", starring Margaret Rutherford, Alistair Sim and Joyce Grenfell. Please vote and put your weight behind our campaign to get this great film released soon.

I imagine it's Optimum Releasing who you would have to contact. Have you had any contact with them?

Thanks, James. No I haven't had contact with them as yet, but will do so. Thanks for letting me know.

Yes a true classic and more than worthy of a dvd release....
While we're on the subject of Alistair Sim films, 'Laughter in Paradise' is also overdue....

Of course, it's a British classic. I know that and I've never seen it!! I would love to though!

I voted yes of course, but can’t help wondering if a commercial release would be better than a home recorded effort. At least judging by some of Ye Olde British films released recently anyway.

Agree with you. I've just bought "The Runaway Bus" starring Frankie Howerd and Margaret Rutherford on DVD release from Pickwick. The quality is appalling and even includes the end of reel countdown leader half way through! My 15 year VHS copy is better than this. Surely they had a better print to copy from than this one?
