Bit of a newbie here, just working on my British Cinema module for uni, wondered if anyone could tell me where I can find electronic journals of 'Screen' and 'Sight and Sound' etc. I've got hold of a few recent ones but could really use some 1960's stuff. I've probably just been looking in the wrong places but if anyone could help that would be great!

Don't assume that they exist in electronic form. They might well only exist on paper.

Other than the sight and sound website I dont know of any online ones but for hard copies try the BFI library on Stephens Street, off Tottenham Court Road. Good Luck!

Nothing specifically sixties, but try these:

The BFI's Screenonline site features over two hundred pre-1968 Monthly Film Bulletin reviews (the MFB was merged with Sight & Sound in 1991), but only of films covered by Screenonline elsewhere - i.e. British films, heavily slanted towards the 1930s, 40s and 50s. That said, there are a handful of 1960s titles on there, and those reviews tend to be longer and more analytical than the earlier ones.

For samples of 1960s pieces, here's Carry On Cleo, Lawrence of Arabia, Peeping Tom and The Servant - just select the Monthly Film Bulletin review option on the right-hand side.
