As far as I am aware he's still about, yes. And busy with the two voice-over studios he owns.
More power to him !

Hi everyone,
Simple question for my first posting.
Is granite jawed British character actor Patrick Allen still alive?
I'm sure I've heard his distinctive voice on some recent television adverts but reckon, if it's him, although he sounds as he's always done he surely must be pretty old by now.
I've "Googled" to no avail!
Any ideas please?
Thanks,
waldenman

He recently recorded an audio commentary for "The Body Stealers" which is available on DVD in the Tigon Collection boxset from Anchor Bay.
He must be about 78 now. He did voice over narrative for a comedy show fairly recently - may have been for Reeves and Mortimer?

The IMDb credits him as Himself (voice) on "Jack Dee Live at the Apollo" (2004).
