Danger Within. Glengary Glenn Ross.
name='faceoff']Diane Cilento certainly knew what films her man should do - no actresses.

Didn't George Formby's missus and Pat Boone have similar views about infidelity thru acting with women?

George Formby's wife was insanely jealous where her toothy husband was concerned. I doubt that she had any qualms about him working on "Bell-bottom George" in which, it is said, most of the supporting cast were gay!![]()

And George, with his little "ukelele" in his hand an' all!
He "turned" out nice again I suppose?

I doubt if George was tempted.
In spite of his wife's vigilance George still managed the occasional marital infidelity. He had a fling with glamorous singer Yana who, apparently, saw George as a walking wallet after she had finished an affair with her latest girl-friend. Ooh mother!![]()
The Thing
Dark Star
The Great Escape
Can't think of any more British ones.![]()
Interesting thread. Sorry that faceoff and Ascoyne haven't returned the last two years.
Would King Rat fall into this category (so long since I've seen it)? I suspect there might be a few films where there's a solitary female who is either leered at (Cool/One Hand Luke), raped (Play Dirty, Day of the Woman obviously), or murdered. I'm sure there's at least one example of the latter but The Dirty Dozen, which I think had a single scene where prostitutes are supplied, isn't that far off. Featuring a particularly brutal throat-cutting by Telly Savalas. I don't recall his deranged line to the lady but it certainly wasn't "Who loves ya, baby!".
I've always preferred strong female characters in films. Say what you will, but the Carry On films were notably generous to their actresses.
Don't recall one in Sea of Sand,Sahara,Steel Bayonet. Not sure about The Naked Prey, may have been a brief appearance at the beginning.Oh just remembered ,one of my favourite war films,Pork Chop Hill.
12 Angry Men (no women might be why they were angry)
Robinson Crusoe on Mars
If you skip the last five minutes, you won't see one in Paths of Glory
Here is a harder question: a movie with no men. The only one that comes to mind is The Women (and I guess the recent remake).

Another all-male film which is a terrific anti-war movie: Dirk Bogarde's KING AND COUNTRY (1964). It has only a few shots of photographs which serve as Hemp's memory of his wife and mother-in-law (best left in a photo.)

Well ignoring all the female only porn like the one mentioned in "Coupling" - "Lesbian Spank Inferno"name='will.15']Here is a harder question: a movie with no men. The only one that comes to mind is The Women (and I guess the recent remake).
