HI FOLKS,
Does anyone know anything about www.archive.org , i have obtained various old movie chestnuts from this site , the bulk of which are stated to be public domain (they call me trinity/the smallest show on earth/bowery blitzkrieg/trigger pals & irish luck amoungst others).They also have sections with all the old 50s public info films ,
It seems a very proffesional site but i Just wondered how reliable is this site with thier copyright discriptions ?

Well, if they think The Smallest Show on Earth is Public Domain, not at all reliable...

Yes , a very good site , tons of really old movies and all the american propaganda and education films , i especially like the prellinger archives.
I guess not so reliable though.
