Very interesting Stephen, especially so being able to read these articles with the benefit of hindsight.

Witch and Warlock became Witchcraft and includes several unsettling scenes, including one shared by Lon Chaney and Marianne Stone!

I see This is My Street on the cover. Can't say I've ever come across that movie. Anyone actually seen it?

That's fascinating about NTSC, PAL and SECAM. I had no idea of their background.

I wonder what happened to that Quota picture mentioned on the first page, The Unknown Battle.... Boyd and Elke Sommer appeared together in an American movie in 1966, The Oscar however....... Strange things these quotas ...

I think "Unknown Battle" became "Heroes of Telemark", with a little re-casting!

Nilssen: That is... I must say that is fantastic efficiency!

Kirk presumably had exactly the chin dimple they were looking for....

Interesting that A Hard Day's Night was originally called Beatlemania.

Interesting to see the big ad for "Nothing But The Best", a film that passed me by at the time and which I've never seen since on TV. I assume it has been shown at some stage, but I note it hasn't yet received a DVD release. Perhaps it's something for the BFI to consider? In fact, why not a double with "Some People"? Same director and composer!
