Hi, orpheum2. Have you by any chance got a 1963 Kine Weekly with photo pages of the Royal Film Performance premiere of Sammy Going South? The premiere was held in late March, 1963, so it may have been in an April issue. Kine Weekly always covered such events. If you have those pages, I would be much obliged if you could scan the pages and upload them here.

Thanks Roger. I apologize to everybody about the size of the text. There used to be a zoom tool which doesn't seem to work now. Anybody that might offer any suggestion as to how to get that working again, I would be grateful.
Some of the British classics mentioned in that paper-thanks also to American money flouting around at the time of the swinging sixties.Plus many people mentioned that are no longer with us.
