Smile Calling All Death Line Fans

Death Line is one of those little gems that came out in the early 70's and is loved by many members of this great site. Being very curious I decided to look for a poster of the film and this is what I found Raw Meat Poster - Internet Movie Poster Awards Gallery

This is very insulting to the movie, which is to all sense and purposes a British Classic. I don't know who this company are or where they are located, but maybe lovers of the movie could send them a message by clicking on the link at the bottom of the poster and hopefully they will remove it. It cheapens the picture so much and makes it look like a an orgy for zombies. Shame on them to defile such a good movie.

A little bit of info for the Death Line fans, the train that was used in the movie was a 1959 stock 3 car unit that regularly performed the Holborn to Aldwych shuttle service and carried the train number 250 for its service runs during the morning and evening rush hour services until the early 90's when the service was shutdown. The filming was all done at Aldwych station and if you look you will see the train doors are open on the right handside of the train, but at "the real" Russell Square, the doors open on the left handside. The train entered service from Northfields depot at around 640am each weekday morning and returned to the depot at 750pm. My friends used to say I had a head full of useless rubbish, but now it's coming to some good. How do I know these facts?

I use to be the signal cabin box boy and I can remember letting the train out on the days for the filming and I can remember the signalman, Malcolm Griggs, entering an item next to the train register "Cecile B. De Mille went through the station". I know that somewhere I have a picture of the train used in the movie and I will endeavour to dig it out as soon as I can. Pm me if you would like a picture.

Yeah, but the company is selling genuine old movie posters, which are collectables. If the original poster for the US release misrepresents the film, that isn't the fault of the people selling it secondhand. You might as well complain to a secondhand bookshop that a paperback they have for sale has a poorly designed jacket.
