    Take a look here to see what Mark Gatiss has picked (scroll quite far down). Then you can also see what listeners have picked (I've sent in three now). And then my hero, Matthew Sweet, picks his choices... nice to see him picking more obscure titles. But really, Gert and Daisy's Weekend? I love G&D but thought the film very poor. Love the songs though.

    Do we really need any more Powell and Pressbuger on these lists ? - surely they are now very much part of the mainstream, and so should automatically be excluded from any 'Alternative' British film lists...
