You are right. A brilliant little film, both plausible and suspenseful. Seems to be an independent production. Yes, they should certainly dust the cobwebs off this one. Very under rated. I would welcome a chance to see it again.
I have just discovered that this film was written by Gwen Cherrell, who now 81 has had a distinguished career as an actress, last apeearing in "To The Manor Born" on TV in 1981. Apart from one other television play it seems she concentrated on her role as an actress.
Judging from "Don't Talk To Strange Men", she may well have chosen the wrong career.
Gwen had a very school-teacherish short part in this film, and indeed in the early sixties, older Women were like this-you didn't answer back! I like the old Ford-Consul car in the opening scenes.

I wonder where the High Street location filming was done? It almost looks like Hillingdon?? Bryanston films-where there studios were, I know not!
