Always keen to know about this one.
The concept of Norman Wisdom going Hippy is incongruous enough, but just what possessed him to do it I wonder? Money? Often credited as one of the worst movies ever, I think it is more bizarre than dreadful. I still rate it as the only film to catch "The Pretty Things" in one of their best moments, but the whole thing is just strange overall. I'm curious to know what other board dwellers think. Interestingly, it fails to make it onto any other the "Norman" DVD collections! I presume it is impossible to find on DVD

This film is still available on DVD, and as I recall one where you get long, lingering views up Sally Geesons mini skirt when she is climbing a ladder

Phaaaoww! I forgot about that. Norman gets his kit off as well if I remember correctly. Yes, I believe there are several cuts of it around. Someone once told me it was re-packaged as a soft porn film called "Girl Crazy" in the 1980's. I can imagine a few surprises when they finally put the video on!

I've looked for this film, where is it for sale please.

Cheers
It appears only to be available in Region 1 - can't seem to find it in R2. Amazon UK have it for £9.42 (inc postage)

Ok, thanks for the info, never used Amazon as yet.
Highly recommended, been using them for years, no bother.
Worth checking out play.com as well, they're often about 10-20% cheaper.

Not what would be expected from Norman Wisdom! I've heard it's now out on DVD on another site, although heavilly edited to gain a PG certificate(!).

Does anyone know if the film was previously released unedited on DVD or VHS at all?

Yes, there was a VHS pre-record that kept the nudity in. Unless the original was even more explicit, which I don't want to think about.

I have a VHS prerecord to DVD transfer of this film, mainly for the delightful Sally Geeson
