A screencap of Barrie Ingham as Robin de Courtenay/Robin Hood in A Challenge For Robin Hood (1967).

Although not confined to Hammer productions of the Robin Hood cycle, the eminent historical journal History Today is in the latest issue running a poll of its own regarding it's readers opinions of interpretations in films and TV.

History Today, doesn't inspire you with confidence that blog, they say that The Adventures Of Robin Hood was a BBC production, I'm sure it was made for the commercial side, wasn't it.
