Not the classic 1937 Tod Slaughter version but the earlier 1932 version with Raymond Massey. Is this film available on VHS or DVD?

Would be interesting to be able to compare the two films, although I don't think that anyone would be able to beat good old Tod Slaughter. A true legend

Being a Tod Slaughter fan, for years I tried to get other versions of his movies but in spite of extensive search, I never saw the 1932 version of "The Face at the Window" in any dealer's or collector's list. I would be happy to be wrong, of course!

Since I placed my original post on this, a member on another forum has informed me that:

"Sadly, the 1932 version is lost. It was a "Quota Quickie", and they have a notoriously poor survival record."

So it probably explains why Sweeney Todd you have been unable to find the 1932 version.

I also understand that there were two silent versions, one in 1919, and another the following year. I suppose that these have also been lost.
