Default "Idiot Heroes"

Which cinema/theatre writer/actor wrote in 1957:

"It [the Labour Party] would be worried if the corrupt, dishonest symbols that move people, by the rubbish turned out by the British film industry, with its emotional dishonesty, its false, implicitly Tory values, and idiot heroes."

Correct. It was Osborne writing in Reynolds News of 27 Feb 1957.

In later years he moved to the right and became a fan of Coward and Rattigan.

I didn't know the answer but I was pretty confident it wasn't written in 2007.
