Tonight I am going to a screening of the 1922 Nosferatu, being shown actually IN the Temple Church with piano accompaniment. Then I shall come home and watch something British and CALMING...

Nosferatu WAS good, although the inter-title translations were risible. It was a DVD version, but not I think the latest one. Filmically I prefer the one I recorded off the TV many years ago! The improvised accompaniment on the organ was wonderful and the main point of the exercise.

Then I went home and watched Jack Buchanan! (What's new).

Hot Fuzz, most definitely. The movie is excellent. Always a movie to keep watching over and over. I'm sure it made many a British bobby roll over with laughter. Not that I care about the average laughing policeman.

Hendon Police College will never be the same.
