In that case, check who's holding the garage door open for Doc Reeves when he rides out in the rain

It could be worse, I could make you watch Luna de miel
Although I still think you'd like that more if you saw the full, restored version

So when are you going to organise the restored version of that? I know Penfold is very excited at the prospect

Hints are regularly dropped

When Thelma showed Bluebeard's Castle in LA in January she did let slip the next few on Criterion's list. As she's made them public I'm no longer bound to my oath of secrecy

They're releasing The Thief of Bagdad next month.

They're starting to research The Small Back Room. That's why they sent a FedEx courier to me to borrow a copy of David Farrar's autobiography, even though it only covers his life to just after Black Narcissus

And after that we hope for Oh... Rosalinda!! along with Herzog Blaubarts Burg and possibly Luna de miel. They'd make a nice set of three music+dance related films

Actually this is what I watched to night..Death at a Funeral----Funny funny funny. I really enjoyed it.It was great to see my old pal Peter Vaughn, still at his best. Great cast, good script, fine directing. all made a funny evening's entertainment.
I am sure you have all seen it..I only hoped you all enjoyed it,

John

When I was a teenager I had a saturday job in Halfords. Peter Vaughn came in one day and bought some motor oil ..... he seemed like a really nice chap.

Great actor and I always think of him as an Insurance Inspector in that classic little B movie
