I'm planning to watch The Descent on C4 this evening. Never seen it and read good things about it.

Default It's Christmas

You may call me sad, if you like, but it's Christmas and, to me, that means it's a "Carry On" Christmas. This time of year, I watch all of the Carry On films in order. I have my favourites, but I still watch them all and realise just how good they are!

On Christmas Day, I'm planning to watch "Ending Up" (with thanks to one of the kind members on here).

There's nothing 'sad' about watching the odd Carry On around Christmas time. In fact, it would be rather 'sad' not to...

I'll be watching a re-run episode of 'The Sopranos', not everyones bag but I love it. Even better the second time around. With the series not long finished you see what a right b*****d Tony really is.

As I will probably find it difficult to stay awake in my ailing condition it will be something short .... either an episode of The Zoo Gang or Paul Temple.

I know where i'm going is my viewing tonight. I have watched AMOLAD 3 times in 5 nights and as well as the film being fantastic I have become fascinated by the acting of Roger Livesey he :was a fantastic actor, very relaxed and totally real. I look forward to seeing this fine actor again tonight.

You can vary it occasionally with a quick burst of IKWIG or Blimp

He did appear in some other films, but rarely in a starring role or even a "second lead", and it was the 3 P&P films where he gave his best performances by far

Tonight it will be the League of Gentlemen. I particularly want to see Roger Livesey in his seedy role. I am becoming a massive Roger Livesey fan, he was fantastic.

I may go for Beat Girl ... the cast alone (Lee, Farrar, Green, Reed, Faith, Hills) should keep me interested.
