Tonight I'll be watching (or more accurately taping as it doesn't start until about 100 O'Clock) the rather unhinged Incense for the Damned.

Taken from a Simon Raven novel and featuring Patrick Macnee, Edward Woodward and Peter Cushing with a young Patrick Mower in the lead it contains Oxford University, Greek islands and trippy vampires.

There seems to have been a revisionist stance taken on this one as this morning's Teletext listing called it and exotic and interesting horror. In the past it has always been dismissed as low-grade hokum and nonsense.

I think I agree with the original comments, with this being something of a waste of a very good cast...

I picked up a copy of this in Poundland a while ago ..... with that cast i thought it would at least be fun. Wrong! A complete load of old cobblers.

Wish I'd done that! I imported mine from the States when it first became available - what a waste of money!

Is It worth recording ? I don't mind a bit of low grade hokum and nonsense
But If It's just bad I don't think I'll bother

A one-view-for-curiosity I'd say, Smiffy - just to see what turned out with such a notable cast. I think a lot was lost in the editing. I wouldn't recommend that you keep it though...

Tonight We are watching the latest Exclusive to Blockbuster offering Awake .

There seems to be a mutiny in the Offing ,as Mrs Smiffy and daughter number 1,don't want to watch another old biddy tonight

I ask you ,Margaret Rutherford as Miss Marple , an Old Biddy ? But seeing as we have watched 3 of the box of 4 set on consecutive nights and we live in a democracy ,I have accepted the vote of the majority

I May be getting older ,but I refuse to grow up

Big Al has died? Shame. Yes, watch the Beiderbecke series again, especially The Beiderbecke Affair and The Beiderbecke Connection (he wasn't in The Beiderbecke Tapes but it's worth watching that as well)

With the video not working, no dvd and the sound gone on the tv, am using headphones, I think I'll just watch the reliable New Tricks.

I simply can't remember a duff episode, all of them work wonderfully well.
