If anyone gets a chance to watch this:

Joanna Lumley - http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pro..._jlumley.shtml

Try and do so - I am spellbound. I won't tell you too much about it - but astonishing, particularly at the end - I'm inspired!

I am watching my longer edits or 71 edits of Doctor Who ~ Kinda from 1982 because I like the extra scenes and the lack of music and effects is a good novelty too !!!!!!!

"Seya next time!"

Just finished watching Joseph Losey's excellent melodrama " The Gypsy and the Gentleman " starring Keith Michel and Patrick McGoohan in a tale of regency debauchery.

Very fast moving and an excellent supporting cast too : Flora Robson, Mervyn Johns, Nigel Green etc.

If it had been made a few years earlier it could have been a Gainsborough film ( with additional sex ! ).

Well worth seeking out IMHO

Last night of the Proms, never miss it, one of the things that's 'great' about Britain!

Followed by another tribute to Humphrey Lyttelton on BBC4. They're showing an edition of I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue that was televised and then repeating the tribute to him that they showed last night.

I'm hoping to watch Simon Gray's Quartermaine's Terms (BBC 1987). With Edward Fox, John Gielgud, Eleanor Bron and Clive Francis.
