Default Turkey Time 1933
Has anyone seen the 1933 Ben Travers movie Turkey Time? It starred Tom Walls, Ralph Lynn and Robertson Hare and was unbelievably stiff (and therefore funny) but nevertheless a real curiosity. I saw it once, years ago. It is one of those movies where the accents give rise to laughs in themselves. In a Jack Buchanan film (?Come out of the Pantry?) JB says "He was so mean that when he sent his pents to the larndry he put his sucks in the beck pucket"- now a catchphrase in my family!

This was shown many years ago on Channel 4.I did not find Walls and Hare to be all that funny and did not keep the recording of this film.However there are a couple of people on this site who might have a copy.

I saw Turkey Time on Channel 4 in 1985 but i can not remember much of it.
