An under used man in television (which could be volentary I suppose) who colud bring back one of the best quiz programmes in television.

Did you see William G. in an episode of Celebrity Mastermind one new year's eve? He did quite well but Peter Serafinowicz won it

William G. presented Fifteen to One, and a very good job he did of it. But he also produced and developed a lot of other quiz shows

Fine actor, writes plays as well. Did some fine work in plays by Robert Holman. Pity Burt was in ZD, his accent stank.

Thats the joke that killed the Music Hall !

She was also very nice. She gave three finalists a brief interview, finding out our interests etc. Philip Lowrie, who played Dennis Tanner in Coronation Street was also a member of the team, doing the auditions around the country.

I just remembered that I sat next to Kylie Minogue on a plane. She is just the lovliest person you could ever meet. Down to earth and probably the most naturally attractive girl I have ever seen.

I had to turn down her offer of marriage though. She was putting those Diamond Whites away like there was no tomorrow ! (last bit not strictly true)

I was having a fry up breakfast in a cafe on Southend seafront once when a small film crew came in with Gary Brooker (of Procol Harem), who were making a documentary about the old music scene in the town.

Cheey sod came over and asked me to eat up and bugger off. Well, it took me a full hour to wipe the egg off me plate.

Ah Yes, the Soviet Union. All them wheatfields and ballet in the evenings

Which film was he in "The Dam Busters" or "Reach for the Sky"? He was definitely in a British war movie of the 50s

There's nothing recorded on the IMDb. That doesn't mean that he didn't do it of course, just that nobody's told them yet. But he doesn't have any acting credits.

Are you sure it wasn't William T. Stewart who was in the Canadian film Carry On Sergeant (1928)?

Met Sir John Mills in Denham,Bucks when he was renewing his wedding vows to Mary Hayley Bell. After congratulating him I was amongst loads of villagers in the church. Hayley Mills was very pleasant but wedding guest Robert Lindsay didn't appreciate my video camera aimed about three inches from his face. Cant think why! Still got a great close up of his nose and the grimace he had on his face at the time.
Tom O Connor and John Conteh were there also and were nice chatting to everyone and happy to pose for photos.
