Also on the bill was DJ and TV Continuity announcer 'Diddy' David Hamilton. I have to be honest and confess that I wasn't expecting much of Dave's appearance, but he proved me SO wrong. He was excellent - very entertaining and a nice chap to talk to.

Another good day....

on Saturday September 20th me and my mum went to the Television And Movie Store in Norwich to see Deborah Watling and John Leeson (Victoria & K9 in Doctor Who) we went in the store and bought a poster of the Sarah Jane Adventures which will be going up on my Bedroom Wall and also an Evil of the Daleks cover for Deborah Watling to sign we then went and stood in the queue outside the store and talked to a man in the queue who puts Doctor Who photographs up on the internet (wikipedia) after standing in the queue for a while we went in the store to meet Deborah Watling and John Leeson my mum instantly recognized John Leeson and asked him what have i seen you in his response was a lot of things far too many to mention and he did some of his K9 voices. Deborah Watling signed my Evil of the Daleks cover and she also signed two Doctor Who books i had bought with me John Leeson also signed both books in one book he signed a page that had pictures of K9 on. We then had a few photographs taken (using both my camera and my mum's camera) two of me with Deborah Watling and John Leeson and then another one with my mum in the photograph as well. A man who works in the store then took a photograph of Deborah Watling and John Leeson together for my mum with her camera they were both very nice people to meet. I now have a lot of photographs to go in to my Doctor Who photograph album (Doctor's, Assistant's, The Brigadier, Daleks and Cybermen).

catch me if you can, hunt me if you dare!

Trevor Howard once dropped me on my head. He was always very nice to me after that.

Spike Milligan gave me a pen for dropping him off at his railway station when the train was not booked to stop there. (I was the train driver!) Nice bloke.

Arthur Mullard accepted a pint from me in a pub near Euston station then promptly told me to f**k off. Horrible, nasty sod.

"How about dat, a? How about dat?

Mum and dad used to work as extras for Granada and Yorkshire TV.
Mum got to dance with Richard Attenborough.
Dad spoke highly of David Jason while filming A Bit Of A Do for Yorks.
Dad once worked with Ken Russell - no-one swears quite like him, allegedly.

I met John Motson at Cheltenham Races in the 90s and discovered he is as keen about horse-racing as he is about footie.

I was with some mates from BBC Engineering for the Wednesday evening recording for TOTP and at the bar stood a figure dressed in all black period costume including tails with powdered white wig that had a small ponytail tied with a black ribbon in it. As we were all waiting he suddenly turned around and held out a white handerchief with red blood splatter on it and proudly said "Look what Sid Vicious gave me!" It was Frank Finlay and sad to say, he held most of the conversation as we were all probably thinking "It's Pru's father."

Well, if you told them I designed it, d'you think that might help?
