Go To Blazes was another in the same tradition asThe Big Job. An excellent cast, including Robert Morley, Coral Browne and Maggie Smith in only her second film. The end result was somewhat disappointing, though.

The support cast shine and it's the lead who lets it down - Dave King - though he did become a good character actor later on

Thats the joke that killed the Music Hall !

Right on both counts.

And there was Rotten To The Core, another comic caper film, this time starring the late Anton Rodgers. Charlotte Rampling was the Promising Newcomer this time.

Surely, you're forgetting "Watch Your Stern", with Kenneth Connor, Sid James, Joan Sims, Lesley Philips, Hattie Jacques and even a heavily disguised Spike Milligan! Kenneth Connor was brilliant as the down-trodden rating, the "boffin" and then the female impersonator and who could forget Noel Purcell's priceless portrayal of the old "sea dog", Sir Humphrey Pettigrew?

"Potter, an imposter? That's impotterable!" - priceless!
