Ahem...back on the subject of disaster movies, not really a Brit Movie per se but British director Ronald Neame and messrs Connery and Trevor Howard can hang their heads in shame over possibly the worst disaster movie in cinema history...Im talking of course about the dreadfull "Meteor" from 1979.

Equally as bad is Michael Caine's The Swarm.

If it was that bad, then it's definitely classified as 100% American, christoph.

Another 100% American, Bats - not a British disaster disaster at all!

However, we do have to take half the blame for Raise The Titanic, whether we like it or not!

Ah yes the naked Vampire/alien, I am glad to see others on here have seen the movie.

I see somebody mentioned The Day of the Triffids, oh that is a great favorite childhood favorite of mine. I can remember running around outside making Triffids noises as a kid.

…time is short. So you gotta ask yourself: Are you a fighter, Fish Queen, or are you zombie food?

How about disasterous docos such as the ones on the Ryal Family which prove that Charles has no sense of rhythm, sense of taste ( Camilla proves that), sense of humour, etc. Can you remember the contrived, dishonest docos on him in his pre-Di days when academic prostitutes argued that he was a brilliant historian?

That was a shame - RN did a good job of The Poseidon Adventure and in fact he is probably my favourite director, certainly my favourite cinematographer.
