Four Weddings and a Funeral is one of the best films of the nineties.
Grant's escapades across the Pond are disappointing,admitted, but his British based films are great fun.
His lesser known films do him more justice as an actor:
His role as Clive Durham in "Maurice" by E.M.Forster was rather good.
" The man who went up a hill and came down a mountain" was also enjoyable.

You can't beat the episode of The Simpsons where the Beatles made an appearance. They were all 'Alright guvnor' and 'Cor Blimey' !

Saying that I'm sure our own ignorance of American accents is equally poor I'm sure. A Deep South drawl and a New York accent are probably the most anyone can do.
