Default Month in the Country

Saw this movie for the first time, even though it was made in 1984(?), so I am stewing in the conundrum of the alternate finish from the book by J.L. Carr. What is the meaning of "old" Birkin, played by David Garth, appearing with the same architecture bible as the one young Birkin used, and into which he pressed the rose given him by Alice? Where is David Garth these days, by the way? I wish this movie would be reborn on DVD.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.

At least you can tell them how it goes when you give them the present.

The same thing applies with giving CD's as gifts.

Surely there is no one out there who has passed up the chance to listen to an album you havn't heard before - and record it! wink

Two "gifts" are better than one.

Dave.
