99% of the time I would agree with you, in general about Germans claiming not to have known.......but two things to remember about this girl in particular. In 1945 she was 19....so during the nazi's rise to power, Kristallnacht, and so on, she would have been in the equivalent of Junior school. As the nazi's had an effective control on the media from that point, how could she have known much..the german people (in common with the rest of the world) were told the Jews were being resettled...and by the time she does become part of Hitler's staff, the Reich was a few square miles of Greater Berlin; the death camps would have been liberated by then. She would have had no inside information of them...

But she was Adolf's private secretary, taking dictation & typing his letters. Did he never mention it in any of those?

...hastily getting back to The Ghost Train (one of my favourites, and like arty I can watch it over and over again and still enjoy it) - wasn't Peter Murray-Hill (playing R G Winthrop) possibly one of the worst actors in the history of acting and wasn't Carole Lynn (playing Jackie Winthrop) rather gorgeous

Ian Bannen gets all the good roles, with Susan George in Fright and then Angela Pleasance in Beyond the Grave (lucky bugger!!)

HYPERDRIVE on BBC 2.

Ep 1 : lots of Hype, little drive. In an enclosed environment, in outer space, you have to rely more on character. None of these were more than sketchy and the plot wasn't up to much. One or two funny gags, but no 'LOL' moments.

Excellent spaceship CGI though.

I'll give it another chance next week and see if it's a 'grower'...

Unearhtly Stranger
A marvellous little sci-fi film of alien bodysnatchers that manages to create an atmosphere of suspense despite the aliens only appearing briefly near the end in the shape of Jean Marsh.
