Hmm, Marmite on hot buttered toast. Lovely
Never too much, a medium sized jar lasts for years. Just use enough to give it a bit of a tang

Steve
And Tescos sales figures rocket this week as Mrs Smiffy adds a jar of Marmite to the list for Smiffy to give it one last try

These movies stand up very well and are WAY above the level of the trash that usually accompanes DVD giveaways.... I bought the box set and have to say Wisdom's films in the main are still packed with great laughs. How can you not like the support as well, with the likes of Margaret Rutherford, Jerry Desmonde, Hattie Jacques, Thora Hird, leslie Phillips etc?
Talent and quality never go out of fashion.....
Totally agree Edward. Norman Wisdon transcends the world with his comedy. He may not be liked in the UK now, but around the world, they love him.

I like marmite but not Norman Wisdom ..... you are the reverse smiffy. Is there anyone out there who likes both? Or neither?

Howdy Lord Ted,
How does Norman Wisdom/UK comedy from that era and classic British cinema in general go down in the Philippines these days ?
Just wondered....

Isn't that something like the irresistible force and the immoveable object?
What happens when they are brought together?

A rift in the space-time continuum. Don't you know anything about quantum physics?
