Default Britfilms in the Snow !!!!

I have watched a few Britfilms recently with a common theme; 'Snowy' films.
These are Britfilms with snowcovered locations, streets, etc.
I don't mean Christmas films, just snowy ones!!
Just for fun, I have listed a few here, are there any more?

Time to Remember (1962)
Ricochet! (1963)
Calculated Risk (1963)

The only proviso is they must not be Christmas films, but films shot in the UK in the snow.

I'm just depressed as it didn't snow where I live frown

Another film shot in the winter months with snowy locations is "Life for Ruth" (1962)with Michael Craig as the religious father charged with manslaughter after refusing his daughter a blood transfusion.

Saw 'Odd Man Out'(1946) earlier today - the use of snow falling in the last half hour is beautifully photographed and seems to make the ending even more moving.

And then there's 'Snowbound'(1948).

Well, O.K., I know it isn't a movie, but if I ever get to England, I want to see Agatha Christie's "Mousetrap." It's about a group of snowbound people being played with by a murderer. I think it's in it's 50th year on the stage in London.

Two 30s films with skiing scenes - Falling for you (1933) with Jack Hulbert and Cicely Courtneidge, also Dusty Ermine (1936) with Jane Baxter and Anthony Bushell.

Here's a few more for your consideration ...
One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich (1970)
Frankenstein (1994)
Bridget Jones's Diary (2001)
Murder on the Orient Express (1974)

It snowed on Christmas Day where I was, in West Wales. It covered the ground but there wasn't enough for me & my nephews to make a snowman or to have a decent snowball fight.

Well, if it did snow where you lived, it wouldn't be real would it, MOEW?

A lot of the above were made in 1962 & 1963. Did they have to include snow in the storyline or was it just a bad winter?. "THE PASSWORD IS COURAGE" was made in 1962 and the weather was bad. When they burn down the wood yard it was ment to be the hottest day of the year but everyone looks half frozen. Come to think of it how many other films can you remember so obviously shot in the wrong season.

An interesting point, as I understand it; winter 1963 was one of the worst ever; and is still one of the worst winters in living memory (type thing) I don't speak from experience as I wasn't born, but I have heard this from many people.

Also, a line from a song comes to mind; "...in winter1963, it felt like the world would freeze...." Dream Academy (??)
