Here's a few more for your consideration ...
One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich (1970) Frankenstein (1994) Bridget Jones's Diary (2001) Murder on the Orient Express (1974) It snowed on Christmas Day where I was, in West Wales. It covered the ground but there wasn't enough for me & my nephews to make a snowman or to have a decent snowball fight. Steve |

A lot of the above were made in 1962 & 1963. Did they have to include snow in the storyline or was it just a bad winter?. "THE PASSWORD IS COURAGE" was made in 1962 and the weather was bad. When they burn down the wood yard it was ment to be the hottest day of the year but everyone looks half frozen. Come to think of it how many other films can you remember so obviously shot in the wrong season.

Also, a line from a song comes to mind; "...in winter1963, it felt like the world would freeze...." Dream Academy (??) |
