Hi Everyone - I'm new to the site and think it's excellent. I am surprised that no-one has mentioned the film (Slade in) Flame. Released in 1974 it not only starred Slade but also Tom Conti (his big screen debut), Alan Lake and Johnny Shannon. It was a Goodtimes Production directed by Richard Loncraine with a film script by Andrew Birkin. This is a GREAT rock film - probably the best British rock film. The style of the film is quite gritty, and a interesting seventies period piece - with great shots of Sheffield where alot of it was filmed. It is now available on DVD - check it out!! And, if you've seen it, what are your thoughts?
