I've posted up the full programme for the forthcoming Fantastic Films Weekend at the National Media Museum in Bradford in the Dates for your Diary forum, however, I thought you might be interested in the British movies/TV dramas we'll be showing - there are some crackers among them:
Films: An American Werewolf in London (1981) Outland (1981) (70mm) Dracula (1958) (in digital) Blood on Satan's Claw (1971) The House That Dripped Blood (1971) -- And Now the Screaming Starts! (1973) Scars of Dracula (1970) The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971) Dr. Phibes Rises Again (1972) Vampire Diary (2007) TV shows: Count Dracula (1977) (TV) The Nightmare Man (1981) (TV) Schalcken the Painter (1979) (TV) "Maelstrom" (1985) (mini) "The Day of the Triffids" (1981) "Play for Today" Z for Zachariah (1984) "Chiller" Toby (1995) "Children of the Stones" (1977) Frankenstein (1984/I) (TV) Finally there’s also an exhibition of the Ashton-Leakey Collection (Hammer Horror concept drawings, continuity photographs, models and prosthetics) and special guests include Peter Duffell, Robert Fuest, Piers Haggard and Robert Wynne-Simmons. So all in all a veritable cavalcade of Brit horror films/TV - personally I'm looking forward to seeing Outland in 70mm, Z for Zachariah and Schalcken the Painter... |
