i love peter cushing! he's the spitting image of my grandad who's also not here now-i thought he made a convincing sherlock holmes which i think is a very difficult role to pull off and one which i am very critical of with most actors! christopher lee is a top drawer thespian also!

Oh, thank you for this. Such a fine actor, and, by all accounts, a delightful man. Lovely to watch some of his finest moments.

Just brought Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell.You cant buy Hammer over here so have to have things sent-bugger.Interesting special feature with commentry by Madeline Smith,David Prowse and genre historian Jonathon Sothcott about Peter Cushing,all agree a great kind man.During this film he is incredibly gaunt due to his sadness at losing his wife.Worth checking out.
