Was it "Shoreditch". It had quite a cast too.

I once overheard two guys talking and one of them was adamant that the personalised recording on Shane Ritchie's answering machine simply says "I'll do it"

Mind you, they might have been wrong

Stella Does Tricks made me pretty angry. A film that deals with social issues but makes everything so boring you actually care less when you leave the cinema than you did when you went in. Actually, we've made a lot of films like that.

Does anyone remember if "Zulu Dawn' was as bad as I thought it was when it came out. I went the day it opened and was utterly disappointed.

Nowhere near as good a film as Zulu of course, but Zulu Dawn has quite a few points to recommend it.

Rawhead Rex
(although it served its purpose to make Xtro and Inseminoid look like masterpieces!)
Hawk the Slayer
Vampira aka Old Dracula (although the cast is decorative)
oh and then there's the soooo bad it actually seems to get better

Blasphemy Penfold!! WED is brilliant. Of course the plot is laughable and far fetched but I think its a great rip roaring adventure film with a great cast.

But Escape to Athena has an equally interesting cast.....well, not quite, but you get my point...cast isn't everything...

"Escape to Athena" is laughable and its obvious that the cast think so too. WED, well the plot is laughable too, but the big difference I think is Burton and Eastwood et all, play it absolutely straight and believe in what they are doing and that makes you want to forgive how far fetched the plot is. In "Escape to Athena" we have Roger Moore and Anthony Valentine playing German and SS officers, in WED we have Derren Nesbitt and Anton Differing......need I say more. there is a very good WED website Where Eagles Dare - the unofficial homepage Lots of interesting facts and a forum not dissimilar to here.

While on the "escape: theme, "Escape To Victory" was pretty grim as I remember it, no ?
