Sadly, yes. My favourite example is the Carlton Silver Collection DVD of
A Canterbury Tale which says on the cover that it stars Eric Portman, Sheila Sim, Dennis Price and Sergeant John Smith (US Army)

If they can't even get details like that correct, what chance does any review or other description of the film have. You're probably lucky the critique was at least talking about the right film
