Dick Barton Strikes Back.
Just had a re-look at my DICK BARTON set. In "Dick Barton Strikes Back", didn't I see PETER WYNGARDE playing a soldier! he is uncredited, can anyone confirm this? It is in a scene where Dick and Snowey are in the Army HQ and a soldier comes down the stairs, he stops and speaks to Dick (Don Stannard), he also noticably stays one step up on the stairs, making him taller than Dick (I wonder if this was deliberate Ha,ha).
Secondly, the film was a VIKING film production, Kensington, yet made in a disused church, called MARYLEBONE studios. Now....is the building (the Church) still there, and if so, where exactly? An interesting thing I do know, is according to the booklet with the set, the film was handed by Hammer to Alliance films, and Mario Zampi, who promptly disappeared with the production money! Exclusive had to rescue the production using Mario Zampi's crew.
Any info' anyone.
