I am just back from a few days in the North West of England (and i'm sad to be back). It is fairly interesting to note the subtle differences in the national editions of newspapers and the Scottish published counterparts. The Daily Mail and the Sun in particular are quite different in much editorial comment. So when we're all busy slagging them off, in many cases we are talking of papers that on the surface look the same, but are very different.

For a long time here, The Sun was a proudly Nationalistic Scottish flag waver.

Anyway, that said, better off without them. Scottish Editions, English Editions or whatever.
