something else worth mentioning is some of the novels colin macinnes wrote such as city of spades and absolute beginners, they are brilliant stories set in london around this time. absolute beginners was made into a film starring a very young patsie kensit, unfortunately it was rubbish but the book is great.

It's 1965 film. It's about a Radio London type DJ who gets mixed up with diamond smuggling starring Kenneth Cope. Small Faces are part of a concert the radio show put on at the end of the film. It was probbly made just as the Small Faces were about to break because they haven't quite got the haircuts yet.

An episode of LOOK AT LIFE was entitled SWINGING LONDON, and it's available in a collection of these shorts on DVD.
