There have been rumours of a Chuckle Brothers movie for a while now .... their stage shows are big business and their TV shows are becoming quite elaborate, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if one did surface.

When I went to the pictures to see it back in the 80's I loved it, mind you I was only six. Perhaps I'm looking at the film with rose tinted specs, but I still maintain the end credits theme was brilliant.

Bats - if the Chuckle Brothers are on stage anywhere near you, try to take the boy wonder - they're very good!

Yes, I am unfortunate enough to have seen this disaster! It's completely devoid of all humour. It's not even funny accidentally.

I'm referring to Cannon & Ball and their awful film 'Boys In Blue'.

The Cannon & Ball film 'Boys In Blue' did have two very good scenes and they were

1.The Beginning (where the Rank logo appeared ) and ...

2.The End credits.

It was all that was inbetween that was crap.

There's a lot of dignity in that, isn't there? Going out like a raspberry ripple.

I did, but at an ex wife's request, and just like her, it was total s--t.

I watched it today and the Rover SD1 handbrake turn is worthy of a mention.

I'm surprised they remained true to the bus ending.

I haven't seen the film and I have no desire to watch it as I was never a fan of Cannon and Ball. For me,they are at the back of a long queue fighting with Little and Large to fill the space left by Eric and Ernie. They and the rest of them need not bother.

I've seen the film twice (on dvd) and have to agree that it is poor. However, I have to plead for a revaluation of C&B as live performers. I've seen them on stage several times and think they are very funny - especially in Blackpool. They are not Morecambe and Wise and don't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath, but they are funny. It may be important to add that they have done some serious business over the years, setting records at Blackpool North Pier, as well as the West End (Dominion and Palladium).
