For me the funniest British double act were the Two Ronnies,i wonder what a feature film with Messrs Barker and Corbett might have been like.
Potentially it may have been pretty good as the mini series they featured in their tv shows were usually very funny.
Perhaps with David Nobbs or David Renwick writing the screenplay

They did do two short silent films for TV - The Picnic and By The Sea

Thats the joke that killed the Music Hall !

I suppose if I admit to watching The Boys In Blue yesterday afternoon and quite enjoying it, I'll get sent to Coventry - so I'm not going to say anything.............
