Default the most iconic james bond moment

which piece of action or dialogue instantly sums up the james bond series ?is it the car with the ejector seat ? oddjob or blowfeld as the villain [ had to be careful with my typing there ] ursula andress in her bikini ? is it pussy galore that keeps you interested ? for me the most iconic bond moment is roger moores underwater lotus in the spy who loved me

Dr No: Bond introduces himself; scene in Casino, Bond is seated at card table, he cooly lights cigarrete with lighter while saying, "the name's Bond.....James Bond" The Bond theme wells up in the baqckground as he speaks. The scene is more or less repeated in the opening sequence of OHMSS while introducing Lazenby as Bond ,only this time he is driving his Aston Martin with a close up of him lighting his cigarrete the same way, he doesn't quite speak the lines but the reference is there.

I had exactly the same scene in mind!
Must be a male thing - the fear of losing a certain "long-standing friend!"!

The aforementioned cigarette lighting scenes plus the end of OHMSS and Shirley Eaton covered in gold paint.

Default James Bond Iconic Moments Montage Homage

Some of my favourite James Bond iconic moments are:

Bond, James Bond … introducing himself to Sylvia Trench at the chemin-de-fer tables in Dr No/
Bond introducing himself to the black bikini clad Jill Masterson in Goldfinger.

Goldfinger: Choose your next witticism carefully Mr. Bond, it may be your last …

Bond: Do you expect me to talk?
Goldfinger: No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!
Laser Beam scene from Goldfinger

Bond: The girl’s dead … and she’s covered in paint … gold paint …
Jill Masterson murder scene … stripped and painted entirely in gold (death by skin suffocation) by Oddjob in Goldfinger.

Bond: We have all the time in the world …
Tracy’s death scene in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service

Here is a montage homage to some of James Bond’s Most Iconic Moments:

Mrs Emma Peel

did you know they had to leave Shirley Eatons ankle and heel without gold paint, but surely Ursulla coming out of the waves must be the best.

How about Red Grant stalking 'Bond' in the gardens at Pinewood? Another iconic moment to me was when Roger Moore's 007 FINALLY got some chutzpah, in the scene where he kicks Michael Gothard's car over the edge in FOR YOUR EYES ONLY.

The 'modern' 007 iconic moments must be that leap over the dam in GOLDENEYE - what a way to introduce your re-invented hero, and re-invent him again with Daniel Craig's eventual delivery of the signature line in CASINO ROYALE; one of the finest examples of 'always leave them wanting more' of recent memory...

The gold free spot was her stomach .... you can see her gold painted ankles and heels in the picture. Her stomach was not visible on screen so that was left clear.
